  Every engagement is scoped to your infrastructure, team size, and goals. We don't run tiered plans — we send a fixed-scope proposal within 48 hours of the discovery call. Contracts are typically month-to-month or annual with a small discount for the latter. No setup fees, no surprise overages.
• [ 02 ] Do you replace our team, or work alongside it? +
  Either. Some clients hand us a whole product to design, build, and run end-to-end. Others have a capable team and want us to take one piece off their plate — a new app, a website rebuild, or the DevOps underneath it. Both models work, and we're happy to embed alongside your engineers.
• [ 03 ] Do you handle design, or just the code? +
  Both. For websites and product work we design the interface — wireframes, visual design, and a clickable prototype — before we build. If you already have a designer or a brand system, we'll build faithfully to it. We don't ship ugly software.
• [ 04 ] Who owns the code and the work? +
  You do — fully. The code lives in your git repos, the site runs on your domains and accounts, and the infrastructure is documented in runbooks you own. If you ever want to take it in-house, we run a structured handover sprint. No lock-in, no penalties, no proprietary layers to peel off.
• [ 05 ] Do you maintain things after launch? +
  Yes — most clients keep us on after launch. That can mean shipping new features, fixing bugs, keeping dependencies patched, or full 24/7 on-call coverage for production systems. It's optional and month-to-month; you're never locked into ongoing fees you don't want.
• [ 06 ] Do you sign NDAs and DPAs? +
  Yes to both. We'll sign yours or send ours within a day. We're happy to sign mutual NDAs before the discovery call if you want to share architecture details freely.
• [ 07 ] How fast can you start? +
  Discovery call within a few days. Proposal within 48 hours of that call. Kick-off typically within 1–2 weeks of signature, depending on your team's availability for the initial architecture session.
• [ 08 ] Can you take over an existing project or codebase? +
  Often, yes. We start with a short audit of the existing code, site, or infrastructure, then give you an honest read on what's salvageable and what isn't. Plenty of our engagements begin as a rescue — finishing a stalled build, untangling a slow site, or stabilising shaky infrastructure.
